THE COALTION TO SALUTE AMERICA’S HEROES™
SPONSORS THE BANDS FOR BROTHERS & SISTERS CONCERT
The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes, the Bay Area Builders Association, and KILT-FM sponsor the first annual Bands for Brothers & Sisters Concert
Pasadena, TX- May 15, 2009- Coalition to Salute America's Heroes has partnered with the Bay Area Builders Association and KILT-FM in an effort to raise funds to build homes for severely injured servicemen and women. It is an all day festival/concert featuring the Randy Rogers Band, Roger Creager, Todd Fritsch, Stephen Cochran, Cowboy Troy and many others. There will also be an appearance by JR Martinez (CSAH spokesman and Brot Monroe on ABC's All My Children)!
This event will be take place during Memorial Day weekend on May 23, 2009 at the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo Grounds. Gates will open at 11:00am. All money raised at the event will go towards building new homes in the Texas Bay area for severely wounded service members picked by the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes ™ (CSAH) (and the Bay Area Builders Association) the leading nongovernmental provider of emergency financial aid for severely wounded veterans from the War on Terror.
“The Bay Area Builders Association began building handicap accessible homes for wounded veterans from the War on Terror in 2005,” said Dan Wallrath, President of the Bay Area Builders Association Support Our Troops, Inc., which was started by the Bay Area Builders Association. “We are extremely honored and excited to be able to build theses homes for Americas wounded war heroes. It is the least we could do to honor their courageous sacrifice. This endeavor would not be possible without the generous donations from KILT-FM, suppliers, contractors, the community, and of course the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes.”
The performers attending the concert are excited to be a part of such a great effort to help out wounded servicemen, "In an era where, at times, our wounded veterans find themselves forgotten, it makes me proud to be affiliated with such an honorable event that will remember their sacrifice. To be a part of a show that will help build a home for someone who has given of themselves for our country is a great thing "said Cowboy Troy.
