Job Shadowing and Mentoring
A First-hand Look.
The Wounded Veteran Job Shadowing and Mentoring program will help you explore just what it is you might want to do now that you’re in the civilian workforce again. We will match you with a local employer in a field you might be interested in, and you will spend a day shadowing what they do. This will give you an opportunity to:
- Explore possible career paths
- Learn firsthand about internship and job opportunities
- Develop lasting mentoring relationships
- Target career skills for improvement
- Demonstrate skills to potential employers
- Underscore the connection between military experience and the private sector
